Are you ever in a rush to a party or small family gathering? Well, it happens to my family all the time! A loaf of banana chocolate bread will serve as a delicious addition to any dessert table. This recipe can be put together in about an hour! And for those with nut allergies it replaces nuts with tiny moresls of chocolate that perfectly blend in with the goodness of banana and moist bread. Leftovers (if any!) are perfect and this bread could even be a breakfast treat or a midnight snack (when studying late into the night). You will enjoy every bite guaranteed.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3-4 bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or more if you like)
Method
Prep Time: 20 min
Cook Time: 40-45 min
(Serves 8)
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit. Prepare a standard large loaf pan (5″ x 10″) by lining with parchment paper or spraying with cooking spray.
-
Mash bananas with a fork until the consistency resembles mash potatoes.
-
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Then add eggs one at a time. Then add bananas to the mixing bowl along with 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix thouroughly.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking soda. Add dry ingredients and mix until incorporated. Lastly, add chocolate chips and mix until incorporated. Bake in the oven for approximately an 40 minutes. Let cool before serving (best when warm). Enjoy!
