If you love a good chocolate chip cookie, you will be in heaven with a bite of this one. It is baked to moist and decadent perfection in a skillet and comes out of the oven warm, rich and ready to melt in your mouth. The texture is a cross between cookie, fudge and brownie and can be baked longer to yield a more crunchy outcome. Either way it tastes like a chocolate lover’s dream come true!

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a 10 inch cast iron skillet, melt butter over medium heat until the color changes to lightly golden (you made brown butter!) Turn off the heat and add your sugars; stir until smooth.
-
Chill the mixture to allow for a cool-down before the addition of the eggs. After coming to room temp, are the eggs and vanilla. Finally, add in the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Fold in the chocolate and bake for 25-30 minutes until you reach the desired texture (bake for less if you want a gooey center).
-
Top with sea salt and other items. Serve and enjoy!
