- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 4-7 tsp milk
- small pinch of saffron
- 3/4 cup + 3 tbsp powdered sugar
Method
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 20 min
Serves (8-10)
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Farenheit. Then combine all of your ingredients, excluding the milk, saffron, and extra powdered sugar (3/4 cup + 3tbsp).
- Roll the dough into small balls, making sure to leave no visible cracks; place the prepared balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 min, or until the bottom is golden. Let the cookies cool for a minimum of 30 min.
- Meanwhile, prepare the icing with the last three ingredients (you don’t want a runny glaze). Spoon some of the mixture onto each cookie and garnish with sprinkles, flowers, etc.
- Serve and enjoy!
