Do you love Oreos but sometimes wish you could dress them up to make them more “socially acceptable”? Well, wait no more! This is the perfect way to enjoy their goodness by wrapping them up as truffles with the goodness of chocolate and cream cheese mixed in. Decadence at its wicked best!
Ingredients (Oreo Truffles)
- 1 1/2 boxes of regular oreos
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
- 2 packets of semi-sweet chocolate chips (3 -4 cups melted)
Prep Time: 20-30 min
Cook Time: 0 min
(Serves 18-24)
- Essentially, put all the oreos into a giant ziplock bag and crush the cookies with a rolling pin until they have morphed into tiny crumbs. Transfer the crumb mixture into a bowl and add the softened cream cheese. Stir until combined, forming a dough-like mixture.
- Roll the mixture into tiny balls (or to your liking for size) and dip them into the melted chocolate chip mixture. Use two forks to evenly coat each sphere and let chill until the outer surface has hardened.
- Enjoy this easy recipe!
